Just as 26 people, including four foreigners have died from alcohol poisoning after drinking locally made arak, customs officials have raided bars in Kuta and Nusa Dua, confiscating imported alcohol which had fake duty labels.
Tourism operators are worried it will have an affect on people wanting to visit Bali.

“We’ve asked for this confiscation process to be temporarily suspended because we are running out of stocks,” Perry Markus, head of the Bali branch of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association.
