President Prabowo said that this year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and China, as well as the 70th anniversary of the historic Asia-Africa Conference.
“This is a very important visit in our opinion because His Majesty’s visit confirms the good, close friendship between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Indonesia, and more importantly between the Chinese people and the Indonesian people,” said President Prabowo.
Furthermore, President Prabowo also emphasized the determination of the Indonesian government to continue to strengthen relations between Indonesia and China, not only for bilateral interests but also for regional stability and prosperity.

Premier Li further explained the increasingly complex global challenges and affirmed China’s readiness to continue working with Indonesia in facing these dynamics. Premier Li Qiang mentioned the pillars of cooperation that will be the foundation for strengthening relations between the two countries in the future.
“China is ready to work with Indonesia to carry out its mission and vision as we establish diplomatic relations, expand the tradition of friendship between the two countries, strengthen collaboration and unity, continue to strengthen the pattern of cooperation consisting of five pillars, jointly address various risks and challenges, enhance common development, and provide greater prosperity to the people of the two countries,” he said.
